Road Paint

Road Paint is a playful, interactive browser toy. Dragging across the screen lays down ribbons of road that wind through a bright, low-poly world rendered live in the browser with WebGL (Three.js). It began as a study in gesture and generative form: the road is authored by the movement of the hand, and the landscape assembles itself around the marks you leave. There is no goal and no score — only the pleasure of drawing space into being and watching it hold together. Open the interactive version below and drag to draw.
